Welcome to the heartland of America. Here one finds dusty backroads and winding trails leading to...the comfortable side of life; a place we visit to witness the past and to lose ourselves in a living tradition. At Red Oaks in Long Grove, Illinois, we think it is the perfect setting to offer a broad selection of furniture, accessories and gifts to help you express your own personal style. This personal experience is enhanced by making the selection process fun and easy. On the following pages, we present what we consider some of the finest representations of the classic styles we have to offer. We hope you see something you like and look forward to you visiting us in person soon.

Our historic setting. Red Oaks is located in Long Grove's historic business district. The original building dates back to the 1850s and is believed to have been built in a one-day houseraising. Little has been changed on the old farmhouse; the porch, stained glass window, built-in display cabinet and original drysink and flour bins are still in place.

In 1962, the building was purchased specifically to locate Red Oaks. Throughout the sixties and seventies additions were built until Red Oaks reached its current size--now rambling over 7,500 square feet of showroom. We are pleased, however, that so many of Red Oaks' visitors remark: "I had no idea from the outside that Red Oaks is so large." Most of the changes made to the building were designed to maintain the historic flavor of the original structure. We think we succeeded nicely.
